Gold Plated
All gold plating is done with 24K gold and is 3 microns thick. This high-purity layer ensures a luminous finish that is resistant to daily wear and tear.
However, BAMBINA BOBA does not guarantee that this plating will last forever, as it naturally wears off over time and with use. The durability of the piece will always depend on how the piece is cared for.
To extend the life of your gold-plated pieces:
Avoid contact with water, salt water, perfumes and chemicals
Avoid exercising with them on, as sweat can accelerate the oxidation process of metals.
Take them off when showering, swimming, or washing your hands.
Avoid scratches and bumps.
Silver can darken over time due to its natural reaction with air. To prevent this, wear your jewelry regularly, as contact with your skin helps keep it shiny.
